- This CT shows the typical appearance of an old territorial infarct
- Normal grey and white matter is replaced by tissue of similar density to cerebrospinal fluid
Clinical features
- Acute confusion several months after a stroke (the old infarct was not the cause of confusion - urinary tract infection in this case)
