CT Brain - Intracerebral Haemorrhage (ICH)

  • 2 areas of acute intracerebral haemorrhage (white) are seen on the left - in the frontoparietal region (large area) and the occipital region (smaller area)
  • Surrounding low density is due to oedema of adjacent white matter

Clinical details

  • History of intractable hypertension
  • Sudden onset severe posterior headache
  • Dysphasia and vomiting
  • Right hemiparesis
