Clinical information

Mrs Jones is an 82 year old life long smoker.

She presents with a history of 2 recent episodes of haemoptysis and loss of appetite over several months.

She has a previous history of occasional angina and she had a road traffic crash several years ago with injury to her chest and legs. She had not been outside Europe for more than 25 years.

Examination findings

Apyrexial

Pallor

Cachexia

Finger clubbing

Monophonic wheeze
