- Multiple loops of gas-filled bowel located centrally in the abdomen
- Multiple lines passing across the full width of the bowel representing valvulae conniventes (plicae circulares) - circumferential folds of the small bowel wall
- Urinary catheter
- Abnormal pubic symphysis
- No bowel in the hernial orifices
