  • Multiple loops of gas-filled bowel located centrally in the abdomen
  • Multiple lines passing across the full width of the bowel representing valvulae conniventes (plicae circulares) - circumferential folds of the small bowel wall
  • Urinary catheter
  • Abnormal pubic symphysis
  • No bowel in the hernial orifices
